About Me

Welcome to my portfolio! I am Grace Helm, a recent graduate of North Dakota State University with a degree in Apparel Design and Development and hands-on experience across apparel design, product development, technical design, trend research, and visual merchandising.

I am currently working as an Apparel Design Intern with FutureTex, supporting their partnership with Target and collaborating on private-label brands including Cat & Jack, All in Motion, Goodfellow & Co., and Wild Fable. In this role, I have gained experience in trend forecasting, market research, color and print direction, silhouette development, CAD creation, technical flats, line sheets, and design presentations.

Through internships, freelance styling projects, and academic design work, I have developed a strong ability to translate consumer insights and emerging trends into commercially relevant products. I enjoy balancing creativity with strategy to create products that resonate with customers while supporting broader business goals.​

I am passionate about innovation, storytelling through product, and bringing ideas from concept to market. I am currently seeking opportunities in Apparel Design, Product Development, Trend Research, and Brand Development where I can continue growing, learning, and contributing to impactful product experiences.
